The Education of Charlie Banks
The Education of Charlie Banks is a coming of age film. The story takes place at the playgrounds of lower Manhattan to the idyllic greens of a fictional liberal arts college in upstate New York. After seeing a bully fight to preps almost to the point of death Charlie Banks decides to talk to the police then through guilt recalls his statement letting the bully out of jail three weeks later. The years went by and Charlie had no contact with the bully, but one day when he came back to his dorm from class he finds himself looking at his roommate and the past he was trying to forget.
Set during the eighties, it is a story about change, inevitability, and ultimately, about facing one's fears
I really liked this movie it had action, suspense, drama, and much more.
There was good character development and the characters were relatable to real life.
The movie made you think about life and how your decisions have big consequences.
